Our KK Trip 14.08.10 ~ 16.08.10

Initially, visiting KK was not in my mind until my sister told me that she have got some free air-tickets from Airasia. Therefore, i also try my luck, so that we can join them for a visit.

We end up going in a big group, 11 adults with 2 of my kids. A total of 13 person went for this trip, inclusive of my family members as well as my hubby family members. Many of my friends and colleagues disbelief that both families can be as close as this! Anyhow, i can say that my parents and hubby's parents are really good friends! They even can go for a vacation without us around!

About 2 1/2 hour flights, we reached. We are staying in one of the hotel next to the biggest shopping mall in KK. Our days were to travel for good seafood, sight seeing, and good bargain for the local favorites to be brought home. Most of our time spent on eat, eat, eat and eat! Our 2 girls enjoy the trip very much, this is also their first time in their life to fly!

New Room Decorations

Lately everyone in my family members are crazy about wall stickers. I am interested in it so, i have seen some very artistic and stylish from the beauty center that i used to visit few years back. The lady boss told me that she bought it from IKEA, but i cant find these item there. I only managed to find some cartoon wall stickers which were not so nice, so i forget about the intention already.

My sister in-law assist me to get some from Ipoh, so i pasted some on Carmen's room with hubby when we were free. Here are some of the pictures in Carmen's room.

Fullmoon Dinner 28.8.2010

I went back Ipoh after work with hubby to attend my cousin's son fullmoon dinner. It was quite rush, after half day of working Saturday, we proceed back. Luckily the packing was done a day earlier. Our time is just nice when reaching the restaurant.

The event giving us an opportunity for us to meet our long time no see relatives. My sister who are working in Singapore also will be there with us. I am glad that most of my relatives notice that i am losing weight, but to me not much difference, only drop one size. Carmen & Jeanne were so happy socializing around.

When we were done with the dinner on the way home, Carmen asked me why nobody shouted "YAM SENG"? Hmm...... She expects every dinner there will be people tossing. After the dinner, my in-laws and my parents will go for a holiday trip to Ho Chi Minh together. They are even more hectic than us! We stay overnight before going back to Klang at my parents house.

New Bedroom Design

 

Carmen has got her new bedroom! We intend to let her sleep separately from us, wanting her to be independent. I think at the age of 3, we have to start train her. I make her excited by buying her come new furnitures and do a bit of simple decorations for her to create her excitement, by sleeping on her own.

The way she responded to us is very positive, she want it very much to stay in her new room. But unfortunately, she was sick, so we bring her back to our room to stay with us until she is okay. So, when she is alright, we take her to her room, and she insisted that i sleep with her. So, again, the initial plan was spoils again.  So i suggested to Carmen that i will sleep with her, and telling her the truth, that i will leave the room when she asleep. Now, the second attempt also failed!

Now, she use her room to study only. And whenever visitors come to our house, she will borrow her room the others, asking them to take care of the room and not to dirty the room. She will frequent the room for inspection. I've got some wall stickers decorations for her, which myself like it very much! Hubby, me and Carmen spend a few hours just to paste a few sets of stickers in her room.

Our Guangzhou Vacation 13.10.2010 ~ 19.10.2010

We are back from Guangzhou! This is my 3rd time in Guangzhou, yet still very excited. I could conclude that this trip are mend for eating & shopping. Luckily Carmen considered behaved well throughout the journey. We went Guangzhou in a group of 6 person inclusive myself & Carmen, both my parents, and my sister's parents in-laws in couple. Carmen & myself were the youngest in the group!

We visited our relatives on my mom's side in Dongguan, and my dad's side in Renhe. These 2 places really extreme. Dongguan is like metropolitan, while Renhe is a village area. We met our relatives from Malaysia coincidentally, as my uncle & wife and also my cousin also going Dongguan. We met there, and we arranged for a day trip together to a place called Zhongqing, nearby Renhe. So we get off from there to visit my dad's ancestors village and the house, currently belonging to my dad!

It's not a nice house as you think, but it's have some valuable history in the past, the great thing were my grandparents went back to the house previously and they took our pictures of me, my elder brother and my elder sister to place in the house previously before they passed away. The pictures still hanging nicely in the house as i snap a picture of it as remembrance.

The shopping was marvelous! The summer just passed, now most of the shops were trying to clear summer stocks, we have got a lot of good bargain too! I bought some new clothing and shoes for myself, Carmen & Jeanne. i didn't buy Hubby do not have anything, as he is very choosy in clothing nowadays. It was a great trip that i can conclude. I wish i can have another trip to Guangzhou again in the future, and i am sure i will be back again to Guangzhou!
