Yesterday's medicine prescribed ~ for stomachache and wind

Since yesterday evening, after Carmen returned home from school, she started to tell me that she has stomachache. I thought it was a mild stomach discomfort, so i applied her with some ointment only. Then she began to go to toilet a few times in a short period of time. I suspected something amiss, and quickly bought her to see doctor.

She wakes up a few times through the night, crying because of stomachache and also vomitted a few times. I suspected her with food poisoning. Then, she wakes up crying again, and this time i realised that her body temperature extremely hot, quickly i gone downstair to grab my digital thermometer to measure her temperature. Wow, she was having high fever at 39.5 degrees. I rush down again to get her some fever medicine.

I am sure i cant go to work the next day, if her conditions prolong. I have scheduled to train my new sales colleugue today, and has been planning for a few appointment with him. The plan will need to be postponed. Hubby very concern about Carmen, asked me to bring her to his uncle's recommendation paedtrition. He purposely came back from his work, to bring us to the clinic.

I need to stay at home this whole week already, knowing that her illness will not be cure in a day or two, it takes a few day to recover according to the doctor. I dont know whether i can bring Jeanne home tomorrow, as i know that it wont be good to leave her with the babysitter through the weekend, as she also will not be free to handle her, while i afraid that Carmen will transmit her sick to her little sister. Hopefully Carmen will be cured in a day or two.

Mid - Autumn Festival

THE CANDLES SOLD NOWADAYS IS LESSER IN QUANTITY

The Mid Autumn festival is coming soon, and yet, my sister's wedding date is getting nearer and nearer. I really couldn't sense any festive season or celebration yet, perhaps due economy is not so good, where everyone complaining that this is a time of another coming recession.

I have bought 2 boxes of mooncakes, 1 box from Elken for own consumption, as i like the unique flavors that they sell and another 1 box from Tai Thong, that i used to buy, for Jeanne's babysitter. Carmen already plays with her electronic Pooh bear lantern for 2 consecutive years.The lantern is still there this year, except i left it at my parents' house last year. Really have to thoroughly find where is it now!

And now, her Ah Yi bought 1 new lantern for her, it's an OX lantern symbolised the year of OX this year! They lit up the candle and play with it! Finallyby now, she can experience the new traditional lantern with a lit up candle that we used to play during our childhood, while the old Pooh bear lantern now passed over to her sister Jeanne. I wonder whether Jeanne knows how to appreciate it at 4 months old now!

Do i look "Chinese" enough with my cheongsam and flower accompanying?


Well, our Malaysia Independence Day is coming soon. We called it "Merdeka" in Malay language. I never know that school or childcare center also will make it a celebration for children, till Carmen's teacher told me that they will be celebrating this special day in school last Friday. Teacher Cheryll informed me to dress up Carmen in "cheongsam" or at least our own ethnic cultural attire which symbolised us as "Chinese". Therefore, it will be a non-uniform day for them.

Luckily Carmen has 2 cheongsams already. If not, i have to purposely buy her a new set. I bought her a new cheongsam every year during CNY. Both her cheongsam still can fits in. I was in a hurry, never styled her hair. I quickly grab my handphone a snap a few pictures on her while we were having breakfast at her favourite mamak restaurant nearby our housing area. We have our favourite roti and teh tarik. Both are Malaysians' favourite food voted, normally taken during breakfast or late night supper.

I was surprise when i fetched her from school in the evening. Most students have their own goodie bags, their left over food from KFC kiddie meal, a set of 100 pieces jigsaw puzzle, a balloon and also a Malaysia flag a.k.a "Jalur Gemilang". Carmen was so happy and excitedly shows me all her stuffs at home. She insisted me to solve the jigsaw puzzle for her immediately, she will get fed up if she cant do it properly. I was having a haard time in getting it done in a short period of time. I finally got it done within 20 minutes. What a relieve!

Hubby has been always wanting to change our car to a better ones, after i pregnant with our second baby, but i tried to stop him every time he mentioned to me. I told him that we don't need such a big car temporary for a family of 3 or 4 person, but he insisted wanting a better car for us. So, i told him that he can change his car when our second baby born.

I thought that he has forgotten of his change car plan, but anyhow, lately, he always asked me to go out for car viewing. We plan to buy either Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. After viewing both, we decided to buy Toyota Camry, where we thrust that Toyota car will be more durable than Honda. Toyota is about to launch the new version of Camry. Today is the first time we view it, as no display car available in the market yet, will be launched in September this year.

The Camry that we saw today was the pre-order car by someone else. The moment i first saw it, i was so amazed, as the facelift to the car is truly attracting, not only me, to the other viewer in at the showroom. Even some passer by also stop by to have a glance of the car. It was "Love at first sight" to me. Previously, i never admire any higher range of Toyota cars as their models are so out of fashion. We immediately placed booking, and we will be able to get our metalic siver colour Toyota Camry by late this month, probably in a week or two! Hooray!

What a comfy seat i've had, wonder can i go out often?

Since last weekend i saw Jeanne loves her carrier so much, so, i put her into her sister's car seat when we went back Ipoh last weekend as she dont have any rocker to rest at my in-laws house. She seems to love the car seat as well. I think, she like it because she can be seated comfortably in it, while enjoying the view from there. We are much more at ease while doing our own things, she just sits in staring at us, with a very curious look when we walked around passing her.

Lucky thing she didn't gives us any trouble during the journey thru and flow Ipoh. She really behaves well, better than her sister's time. She is even easier to take care compared to staying at home. I think she is just like mommy, loves to go out! She never gives us problem along the journey. I think, i can bring her out often now!Hooray!

Oh ......my seat can rock on the floor!

I was pretty free last weekend after hubby took Carmen out for a bicycle ride at the playground. So i played with Jeanne at home, while waiting both of them back. I rarely spend enough time with her when i compared my time with Carmen previously.

My impulse direct me to get the baby carrier to place on the floor to rock her, since the day was not so hot. I place her below the fan, and get her some toys to train her up on holding items by removing her mittens. This impulse was initially happen when i first saw her starts to learn holding and putting stuffs in her mouth lately.

She seems now enjoying the rocking carrier, while start to explore the toys that i gave to her by grabbing and putting them inside her mouth. Her mitten getting wet easily, as she loves to sucks her mitten nowadays. I will start to remove mitten from her now, let her have the experience of touch with her surrounding. It will be good for her development.

Lately, i have been attending a few family and relatives wedding reception. I never thought of buying Carmen any bride look-a-like apparel. But, lately i always go out for shopping during this Mega Sale event, i was attracted to a lovely dress offer huge discount a Jusco once i saw it. So, i decided to buy Carmen this dress. In fact, i already bought her a few dresses to attend my sister's wedding in this coming October after last month that we just attended my brother's wedding.

Excitedly, i quickly dress her up at home after she came back from school. I wanted to see whether she can fits in or not. Tentatively, the dress i bough is for age 3-4 years old girl. I hope she can fit in as she is quite big in size compared to those about her age. I think this fits her well, and she will looks nicer in another 2 months time. With a bit of gromming, i think she will look nice on the dress. And about Jeanne, i have not buy her any special dresses at the moment. She has a lot of new clothing's not worn yet in the wardrobe.
