When Carmen was younger, during her introduction to semi-solid food or solid food, i used to buy her food puree, the types that sold in major supermarkets. She consumed a lot, on dailly basis, probably from 4 months till 8 months, together with an apple a day, to kee the doctor away!The apple to to be blend into juice for her. Maybe that's the reason for her to have pinkish fair skin tone and smooth complexion.

I also used to feed her bird's nest since she was 9 months old on a weekly basis, till i deliver Jeanne, i stop, because i am lazy in preparing. To be fair, i have to start back, because in a few months time, Jeanne will be reaching 9 months. She deserved to have what her sister have had previously. i always remind myself to be fair to both of them.

Somemore, i still have quite a lot of balance stock in my cabinet, and my friend is helping me to stock in somemore, direct from farm with no preservatives and with a discounted price. And i think myself should have somemore, to maintain my skin complexion. Haha....growing old aready, must really take care of myself!

Now, it's the time for Jeanne's turn. I want to train her to enjoy eating, just like the rest of us in the family. Me, Hubby and Carmen loves and enjoy eating very much. I already bought 2 months supply of food puree from supermarkets to feed her.

Then, i finally realise that i can make my own baby food myself. Somemore, it's fresh and healthier, in the sense that i can choice those better quality organic fruits and vegetables to be fit in her meal. So, i started my chores last 2 weeks. It turn out to be well and she loves it, of course!

I spend some time in surfing the net for the recipis, and i will tried to make it for her to try in the coming days. I want to find more info online because i am not an expert nutritionist, i afraid that i mix out a few items which leads to toxic food. It's dangerous and harmful to baby at this young age.

It has been a wonderful turnout of my latest try out. I have been trying on Sweet Potato & Carrot, Pumpkin, and the best is Apple & Mango, which i think is fabulous, myself also like it. Unbelievable, taste just like pudding. Even Carmen also want to eat it!

It has been quite sometimes that i didnt take any pictures of myself. I think i still look fat with round face, double chin and also spare tyres easily can be seen after delivery of Jeanne. I asked my sister to help me snap these few pictures during both sisters having fun in the pool at home on a fine day. Well, not too bad.......

The pool has been kept in store, unmoved for quite sometimes already, think probably around half year there. Last time Carmen used to play inside the pool on usual weekends. Now her sister Jeanne is big enough to join her in with mummy's assistance to carry her in. Just wanna let them enjoy their bath and fun time together.

 After such a long awaiting for my sister's wedding, finally the time has come. The wedding reception actually enables me to take a few days off from my work and to travel back Ipoh with my both litte girls to celebrate her big day on mid autumn festival this year. It has been a long time i didnt come back to my parents house for such a long period after my delivery of second baby. Luckily, both of them behaves well these few days!

Hereby, would like to take this opportunity to wish this new lovely couple a very good beginning of another new chapter in life and congratulations in finding true love and the match made in heaven!

Carmen's Baby : Wang Jing Jing



Wang Jing Jing allowed to sleep on Carmen's bed!

During past few days i stay at home with Carmen, i really observed her on her illness and also on her speech. She loves to talk to herself, and sometimes also tends to act like a teacher speaking to herself, and once, she talked to her baby alone. I over-heard her conversation on that one fine day.

It began when she asked me to remove her baby's old romper, and give her a new clothing to wear. All of a sudden, i cant find any small clothing to fit this baby. I went shopping previously to get her baby a new change, but i didn't buy, i think it is too expensive, cost around RM50-60 just for a small little piece of cloth, i might rather buy 1 for Carmen or Jeanne with that cost.

I remember i just cleared off some of Jeanne's newborn clothing to the store behind, so i climb up the ladder, started to look for the smallest clothing available. I only managed to find a light blue jumper and a hat set. So, i helped Carmen to dressed up her baby. And now, their conversation begin, with me sitting next to her to observed. While cuddling her baby, she said:

Carmen: Oh, baby, dont cry, mommy sayang!
Baby: (I never cry)
Carmen: Oh baby, you pass motion already, you need a change!
Baby: (No, i didnt)
Carmen: Do you know my name is Carmen Wang Jia Wen?
My name is Carmen Wang Jia Wen.
Your name is Wang Jing Jing
Baby: (Wow, i finally get my own name!)

From that day onwards, we named her baby Wang Jing Jing! We have another baby in the family!

I have had a few terrible days and nights looking after my sick little Carmen. She was having virus & bacteria infection in her little tummy, which makes her to have stomach discomfort and stomachache occasionally at anytime. To make thing worst, she was also having diarrhea and vomiting often in the first few days and also tends to have high fever up to 39.9 degree Celsius. We keep on bringing her to see her new pediatrician recommended by hubby's uncle almost everyday. It cost us a few hundreds just like that, but lucky thing that she is getting better day by day.

Now it's my turn to get sick. Since yesterday morning after i woke up, i feels my throat pain and also stuffy nose. I know i have to get well soon, otherwise, my both darlings will suffer and the rest in the family also will suffer without me doing the house chores. So i quickly went to our panel doctor for some medication, after Carmen went for her check up.

I asked hubby and Carmen to stay inside the car to wait for me, and because they have waited long, Carmen wanted to come in the clinic after she saw the play station in the clinic. The purpose i don't allowed them into the clinic as many sick patients inside, easily spreading virus to children, especially they are not feeling well, with low immune level. But, nevertheless, Carmen insisted wanting to come in.

Now seems that she no longer sick, can play so well and happily. Really hard to believe, suddenly feels like suffering, cannot move at all on the bed, then all of a sudden, can run, jump and play! Really amazing. Thank god she progressing well. Pity on her little sister, i have to seek help of the babysitter to take care of her, and pay her additional fee to pleased her and thank her for her help. Jeanne cant come home even on the weekend and also the public holiday.

Yesterday's medicine prescribed ~ for stomachache and wind

Since yesterday evening, after Carmen returned home from school, she started to tell me that she has stomachache. I thought it was a mild stomach discomfort, so i applied her with some ointment only. Then she began to go to toilet a few times in a short period of time. I suspected something amiss, and quickly bought her to see doctor.

She wakes up a few times through the night, crying because of stomachache and also vomitted a few times. I suspected her with food poisoning. Then, she wakes up crying again, and this time i realised that her body temperature extremely hot, quickly i gone downstair to grab my digital thermometer to measure her temperature. Wow, she was having high fever at 39.5 degrees. I rush down again to get her some fever medicine.

I am sure i cant go to work the next day, if her conditions prolong. I have scheduled to train my new sales colleugue today, and has been planning for a few appointment with him. The plan will need to be postponed. Hubby very concern about Carmen, asked me to bring her to his uncle's recommendation paedtrition. He purposely came back from his work, to bring us to the clinic.

I need to stay at home this whole week already, knowing that her illness will not be cure in a day or two, it takes a few day to recover according to the doctor. I dont know whether i can bring Jeanne home tomorrow, as i know that it wont be good to leave her with the babysitter through the weekend, as she also will not be free to handle her, while i afraid that Carmen will transmit her sick to her little sister. Hopefully Carmen will be cured in a day or two.

Mid - Autumn Festival

THE TRADITIONAL "OX" FEATURE LANTERN



THE CANDLES SOLD NOWADAYS IS LESSER IN QUANTITY

The Mid Autumn festival is coming soon, and yet, my sister's wedding date is getting nearer and nearer. I really couldn't sense any festive season or celebration yet, perhaps due economy is not so good, where everyone complaining that this is a time of another coming recession.

I have bought 2 boxes of mooncakes, 1 box from Elken for own consumption, as i like the unique flavors that they sell and another 1 box from Tai Thong, that i used to buy, for Jeanne's babysitter. Carmen already plays with her electronic Pooh bear lantern for 2 consecutive years.The lantern is still there this year, except i left it at my parents' house last year. Really have to thoroughly find where is it now!

And now, her Ah Yi bought 1 new lantern for her, it's an OX lantern symbolised the year of OX this year! They lit up the candle and play with it! Finallyby now, she can experience the new traditional lantern with a lit up candle that we used to play during our childhood, while the old Pooh bear lantern now passed over to her sister Jeanne. I wonder whether Jeanne knows how to appreciate it at 4 months old now!
