 My home cooked lunch today 

Followed by our delicious dinner

It has been almost 4 months that i didn't cook dinner for my family after i got pregnant. I think the morning sickness and nausea should have leave me by now, but yet still sometimes, i still feel nausea persist after some undesirable stimulation. Backache started by now. Anyhow, i am feeling better, and will able to be my old self again! Thank god!

Recently i bought 2 recipe books all about Malay food, emphasis on cooking Rendang & Herbs. I decided to give it a try on rendang chicken since all of us love rendang, including Carmen. This is my first trial on cooking rendang chicken, it turns out unbelievably nice, just like those cook by the Malay counterpart. Woo......Carmen had her rice refill after tasting my rendang chicken, while her Daddy only have a try, he cant eat much as he was sick! Too bad........but myself like it very much!

Homemade Pan Mee Soup

Has been wondering of what to eat today? Carmen has been sick, eating out everyday is definitely not a wise choice after all. Since it has been a long time i never cook, so i prepare to cook something that i feel like eating and has not been eating very long time. 

Pan Mee suddenly comes to my mind. I have not been cooking this menu for years! I checked with Carmen whether she wanted to have it today, and she seems interested and i proceed with my menu today! To tell you the truth, i really love this homemade Pan Mee and it taste as good as the ones selling outside! No joke! Strictly no MSG added too!

1st Family Outing for Movie

Hubby called me early in the morning to book online ticket for a movie. I was so surprise, and nevertheless, i did what he told me. I was trying to figure out whether he is trying to date me again after all these years or just wanting to bring Carmen for her first exposure to cinema? Anyhow, appreciate his effort to bring us out for movie.

We will be watching The Sorcerer & The White Snake, it's a Chinese legend love story between a young scholar who falls in love with a beautiful woman, unaware that she's a thousand years white snake who has taken into human form. Their love blossomed but it was forbidden by the nature law, therefore, not having a happy ending! (I hate to see such ending)

Yesterday was our first family outing for movie at a cinema located in a shopping complex in our neighborhood! Carmen was there with us, but Jeanne was absent, as she was at the babysitter house. I am sure if we bring her along, we will have go home latest halfway of the movie. Let her grow older then we will have another session with her. Carmen did behaved, but....she refused to eat her dinner, as she was too hurried to chase us into the cinema. It was her first session of movie after all. This girl must be feeling very anxious and excited.

To tell you the truth, we have been missing our movie since Carmen was born. I think and as i can remember that my last movie in the cinema with hubby was the time i am carrying Carmen in my tummy! When recount back, we haven't been stepping into a cinema about 4 years already!

Scoring Good Grades

 I am a proud mommy, Carmen scored  full in all her papers!

Last Saturday was Parents - Teacher Day at Carmen's school. I went there without much expectation. I was so surprise and glad that Carmen producing such a good grades in school, despite she is only 4 years old. She scored full marks 100% in all the subjects taken in the recent exam. Previously i never seen that they have any exam done. This is the first time i see that they have exam papers. Maybe they are too young to understand what is exam for.

Frankly speaking, i am very proud of her, as i never scored full in all my papers in exam all my life. Her Daddy? No need to say.......not a good student and has been skipping school since young! I believe that it's a good beginning for Carmen. So far, I never push or give any stress to her, as i want her to enjoy her childhood before she enter into the actual kindergarten class.

And of course that me and her Daddy are very happy, we both also share the same thinking of rewarding her with IPAD2 immediately. But after i reason a while, i believe that we should encourage her further and we cant give in whatever demands she wants immediately.

So, i asked Daddy to hold on the plan, until her 3rd semester final exam, if she still can maintain on all full marks, we will immediately buy her IPAD2. In fact is to encourage her to work harder to achieve something she wants. Even though that she cant achieve all full marks in her future exam, we will still buy for her because we have been talking about buying it recently. Now we just pro-long our plan and its a matter of time only!

Missing out Hubby's brought home large Tiger Prawn......................I forget to snap some pictures!

I suddenly craving for steamboat again after the last weekend having it in Ipoh at my mom's place with my siblings. In fact, i believe that the eating companion is a very important factor whether your appetite can be boost up or down! We just have a simple one, yet very fulfilling because it was very happening and just like our CNY reunion.

Today is Wednesday. Carmen will have her tuition class today and our nearby night market also will falls on the same day too. Without much hesitation, i suggest to Carmen my intention and she just love my plan! She has been asking me to buy her favorite clam & fish cake. The rest all follows my appetite!We have had plenty of choices, i have invited my cousin  to come over to share the food. I believe that she will love it too!

Pregnant!

12th weeks old baby in my womb

~The fetus began to looks more baby now, the limbs can be obviously seen

~Gender? Not yet to be seen and reveal at this moment

~I can see we will have a chubby baby in the future

8 weeks old baby in my womb

~Heartbeat already detected, no longer worry me

~It seems that embryo has taken it's shape, the limbs began to form

By now, i think i already escaped the Chinese taboo, to declare that i am 3 and a half months pregnant with my third child. I and hubby agreed to have another child, as the last baby that we will have in our life as our age does not permits us to have anymore. We tried hard for a few months with failure results. I believe as we aged, the chances of getting pregnant drop significantly.

It's not easy to be pregnant woman who aged, even though some of you may try to figure out how old am i? I am 32 this year while hubby is 35. This round of pregnancy is super torturing for me. I cant eat and sleep well even in the first tri-semester.. The morning sickness and nausea are killing me, even until this moment. I can say it's getting slightly better than before, yet still, i am still very uncomfortable with the feeling comes and goes.The worst part is i have uncontrollable pimples grown on my pretty face! *Sigh*

I will be going for my 16th week check up in another 2 weeks time, feeling a bit nervous now. Most people said gender of the baby can be easily seen from 16th weeks onwards. I hope that we will be blessed with a baby boy this round as we have had 2 girls ahead. Well, even though we will have a baby girl this round.........we will take it positively, we will still being blessed in a way that we are still able to conceive and getting our last baby after much effort putting in to conceive! Let's leave it to fate and should thank god for the blessings!
