Carmen's Birthday

Carmen will only have a small birthday party at her school this year. No home celebration for her this year as everyone is falling sick, while Carmen just start to recover from her fever and cough. Her teachers are too kind the give a surprise to her, they presented her with a Horsie that she has always been longing for! I pray to god to keep my Carmen safe and health always! Tonnes of loves, hugs, kisses from Mom, Dad & Jeanne!

Another Birthday Celebration on impulse for Carmen during our "balik kampung" time. Granny insisted that she wanna buy a Secret Recipi Chocolate Indulgence cake for Carmen! It's just because she loves the cake!

We have got no plan for the celebration. Furthermore, now feeling old already, not as excited as before. Some more, it's a working day for me and hubby. I did not ask for any gift, so does hubby never ask me what i want. He knows me best, he know that  i will buy what i like at anytime. I do not have to wait until my birthday to get anything i like. Luckily, so far, he will never raise any question.

I am another year older now! We are having a very simple celebration this year. Only family dinner, with my baby Jeanne missing, because it's too late to bring her along. We both finish work late. We went to the Selangor Royal Yatch Club as a last minute decision, for a dinner, viewing and appreciating those luxury yatch parking by the side of the restaurant. Thanks to my childhood friend who presented me with this birthday cake!

I will be going back to Ipoh every year during Christmas to celebrate my Dad's birthday. Before i married, i am the one who always organize and pre-arrange the event for him. Normally it will be a close family dinner. After my marriage, the arrangement will be handle by my sister. Now she is in the last tri-semester of pregnancy, she cant do much for arrangement this year.

We end up for a dinner at a restaurant in Ipoh Garden this year. The food are great, satisfy our tastebud! I regret for eating too much! But the food in Ipoh are really irresistible!

Nowadays is quite difficult for all our siblings to gather for a dinner, as almost all of us are having our own family. My elder brother is the last who get married in the coming March this year. We all are staying all apart from each other. Yet still, I have to call them from far and confirm with them earlier, just to make sure they are okay with the date and arrangement!

My All Time Favorite Chocolate Indulgence from Secret Recipe!

This year we are celebrating Hubby's birthday with both our families as we went for a KK Trip together. It's actually a surprise for him, as i didn't mentioned to him about this event at all.

After a hectic day of sightseeing and visiting places, while on the way back to our Hotel, i asked the driver to stop by Secret Recipe shop and bringing Carmen along to choose a cake for hubby. My MIL followed, she insisted she wanna buy a cake for his beloved second son. So i just grant her wish and let her pay! : )

I believe that hubby started to feels uneasy as he suspected something, and embarrass that we actually celebrated his birthday. As an adult, we hardly celebrate birthday in a big group of relatives, i know for sure he feels embarrass, but i think it gonna be an unforgettable event.

It's simple, cake cutting at the hotel lounge and everyone were praising me for choosing a good tasting cake, which is also my favorite choice of "Chocolate Indulgence" from Secret Recipe! Even the cake was big, we managed to finished up 3/4 of the cake after a very filling dinner by the seaside of grilled seafood. Amazing...........

It has been a year since Jeanne was born, i still remember the same day last year, i was admitted to hospital for c-sec, i was so nervous and scared as that was my first time having c-sec, while my first delivery is a normal delivery. One year since has gone, and Jeanne has grown up a lot.

I and hubby have to work on Jeanne's actual birth date. Therefore, we have to finish our work, fetch her from babysitter house, and go for a dinner nearby only. We went to Botanic Resort Club, very near to our housing area after we have our cake cutting ceremony at home. After the dinner, we sent Jeanne back to the babysitter house, i forget to give her the present i bought for her! *ALAMAK*

Last weekend we went back Ipoh to celebrate my FIL birthday, which falls on 2nd November. Supposingly, we have to celebrate earlier, but because of timing matters, so we postpone it. We have been planning for this event few weeks back. It's not a grand one, we went dine out to celebrate at a restaurant in Kampar. Everyones present, except my sister-in-laws husband missing. He was too busy handling his new house renovation.

We came tried out at this restaurant last time, we found the food there very nice, i supposed they have a great chef there. We saw the set table menu also very attractive, so we plan to celebrate there. The name of the restaurant is similar to a famous TVB drama called "Ka Hou Yuit Yuin" means "United Family". It's a great name, great for family to dine and hang out also.
