Empurau Fish Dinner

We are fortunate that we went back Ipoh last weekend. We enjoy one of the most sought after fresh water fish called "Empurau". So far, Empurau is most expensive fish i have ever heard of. It can be sold as high as RM1000 per kg in East Malaysia restaurants. The species of this fish is only available in East Malaysia. It is expensive because it is so rare. The fish only consume fruits, flowers and plants as their food. I read about it in The Star paper somewhere last month.

I thought that i will be able to try out the taste of this fish in the next few months when in visit KK with my family and also my in-laws family, but, i am truly fortunate, that my family members bought it from somebody who send it over to us by MAS. Unbelievable!

We took the fish out to one of our family favorite restaurant and had it there. In' fact, my family already had one fish the day before at the same place, it is just that i requested that i wanna have the fish again when i back, they again, give in, dining at the same restaurant the next day. They are just too understanding and kind to me. Thank you so much!!!!!

We went back Ipoh to celebrate Mothers' Day with our parents. We are having dinner with my in-laws family as well as my own family, to be fair to both family. Most of the time we celebrate any events by eating only! Carmen is the happiest person after all, she do not need to attend school in the first place, and she love it very much when we travel back to our hometown!

My BIL bought a cake for my MIL after the dinner, Carmen treat it as a Birthday cake for herself, she want candles to be light up, and she will blow the cake, and cut the cake as well. Carmen demanded that we all sing "Happy Birthday" song for her, i think, she still do not know the meaning of Mothers' Day. She only understand that the day is the birthday for all mommy, she thought it's my birthday instead, and she sings me a Birthday song! Haha....

Mothers' Day 2010

On Friday, the day before Mother's day weekend, Carmen came home from school with a few gifts to me. It's my first time receiving gifts for Mother's Day being a mother for 3 years already. I appreciate the teacher's effort to teach her to make the cute cup cake and also a heart shaped card for me. I liked it very much!

It has been a year since Jeanne was born, i still remember the same day last year, i was admitted to hospital for c-sec, i was so nervous and scared as that was my first time having c-sec, while my first delivery is a normal delivery. One year since has gone, and Jeanne has grown up a lot.

I and hubby have to work on Jeanne's actual birth date. Therefore, we have to finish our work, fetch her from babysitter house, and go for a dinner nearby only. We went to Botanic Resort Club, very near to our housing area after we have our cake cutting ceremony at home. After the dinner, we sent Jeanne back to the babysitter house, i forget to give her the present i bought for her! *ALAMAK*

Smart Reader Day 05.05.2010

Today is Jeanne's Birthday! We have a plan for her tonight. At the same time, today also is Smart Reader Day. Carmen's teacher send me an SMS yesterday to inform me that they will have a party at school today, and all students need not to wear their uniform to school. So, i dress up Carmen in the morning, and brought her for breakfast before sending her to school. I few pictures of her during breakfast time at our usual patronage mamak stall. I notice that she has grown up a lot. She is a young toddler now!

Carmen already be informed that they gonna party in school today. She was so excited. Luckily school timing is the same as usual, finished at 5.30pm, otherwise, i have to take leave just for her party! I fetched her home at the evening, she excitedly telling me that today they have party in school. She has got a party hat and balloon. They have fast food today. Carmen told me they have soya bean drink, and they consume nuggets, sausages and french fries. I'm sure all kids would love it just like Carmen!

We went back to Malim Nawar on Labour Day Holiday. The timing spoils my planning for a BIRTHDAY celebration for Jeanne during the weekend. Some more, my SIL have gave birth, she went back to my in-laws house for confinement, we will go back to pay her a visit too. Therefore, we have to change our plan.

Surprisingly, we have got a FREE cake from the restaurant that we are dining to celebrate coming Mothers' Day. My MIL presented the cake to Jeanne as her birthday cake. We're just singing the "Happy Birthday" song for her and lit up a little candle for her. I think the happiest person is Carmen, as she demanded us to sing the song, lit the candle, and she blows the candle on behalf of her little sister!

Anyhow, both of them enjoy the cake very much, as both of them is the fans to the cake, they nearly eaten one quarter of the cake, even though the cake is a mini cake, i think is around 6-8 inches round butter cake. They both really enjoying it......but Jeanne still blur blur, do not know what is happening as she is still young! You can figure out from the facial expressions : )

Can you see that she is driving in style? Somemore, wanna use handphone......sure police summon her!

I do not know since when Carmen likes to drive a car like an adult.  She loves to pretend like adult driving a car. She only play with her toy car (a 4-wheeled vehicle i bought for her 1 year old birthday) inside our house compound, and only will ride her bicycle when i open the door grill to the car pouch area, either to dry my clothes or wash the car pouch.Maybe she want to experience driving a car like us!

Carmen lately likes to hop over to the driver seat whenever she have the chance to do so, and playing with all sort of items in the car. We used to go to the bank very often, to bank in or to withdraw monies. After daddy move out from the driver's seat, closing the door, she will hop from her seat, either from front or back, to the driver seat, lock the door, and pretends driving the car. Can you see she is driving in style?

When daddy's is on his way back to the car, Carmen will quickly stop all her action, hop back to her original seat, and act as if nothing happen. I am curious why she afraid to let her daddy knows that she play with the steering and accessories?
