A Day Up The Hill 07.08.2010

Our past weekend was fun, it wasn't our initial plan earlier at all to travel to Cameron Highlands in the first place. Up we went the hill from Ipoh, accessing the new highway from Simpang Pulai all the way up reaching on top of the hill in one and  a half hour. My parents  wont be around Ipoh, my in-laws were too busy, need to work on the weekend, not free to entertain us. So we went up the hill on impulse.

We woke up for breakfast, then both girls have their hair cut, while i have my hair washed, and then we all bathed ourselves clean, and off we went up the hill! Our first stop over was at our favorite restaurant for a lunch, called "Ngau (Cow) Kee".We can feel that both our little girls enjoying themselves very much at the garden playground visit, after our shopping spree at the market for the vegetables and fruits purchased as gifts for friends. While our little angels busy having fun, myself quickly taking some private time having snacks. Glad that both of them enjoying their free time at the park.

I am sick - Blessed with a Homecooked Dinner which i longed for!

It's my own home-cooked meal, a satisfying meal! Yummy!!!!

It has been a long time that i didn't cook. Lately always get sick, maybe staying indoor in office with no sweat makes me feel sick often, compared to down to the field visiting customers. Yet, i enjoy staying at home even though i am sick, taking this chance to cleared off all my household chores, pending. I think  24 hours a day not enough for me lately.

Even though the food are so simple, but, there are all my favorites. The Japanese cup is the herbal tea i boiled for the family to reduce heat in the body. Lately the weather has been extremely hot. I never though that Carmen  like the mini salted fish so much! She keeps on asking me to cook after that day onwards!

Dinner at The Same Restaurant

10.07.2010 : Having dinner with Carmen & Jeanne together with my in-laws & relatives

12.07.2010 : The dishes that we have it today!

02.08.2010 : What's new today?

We have been not been visiting this dining place nearby our house for quite a while. The restaurant is strategically located by the riverside mouth, connecting to the sea, accompanied by a few sampans floating beside, underneath the wooden platform of the restaurant's flooring. Some small gaps of the wooden platform enables us to peep through the flooring into the water directly, giving us a glace of the muddy river, and if we are fortunate enough, might see some small fishes playing in the water. With mangroves along the sidelines making this scenic view a pleasure for diners overviewing the connecting bridge across the river.

This restaurant is one of the famous seafood restaurant in Klang. Since the food served was so nice, we decided to have our dinner at the same restaurant a few times at a near date. Desperate to taste the food again to satisfy our own taste buds, where Carmen only share a little portion of the food, maybe not even a bite of each of the dishes. Her consumption depends on her mood. If she does not want to eat, i will not force her, i do not want her to vomit in front of me. I will instead feed her milk after the dinner at home.
