Jeanne was spending yesterday night with us as Daddy brought her home, surprisingly, without my request. I decided to bring her along for breakfast before sending  her back to the babysitter house again in the morning. I purposely order 2 sets of breakfast to share with Jeanne, if she cant finish off her portion i will be finishing it off for her, as i have bigger appetite nowadays. 

I notice that the way Jeanne behaves lately is exactly like Carmen. Both of them really like to take picture wherever there are. Jeanne started to request me to take photos for her when she sees something that she likes. She was attracted to the Ronald Mc Donalds once we step in the restaurant. 

Jeanne does enjoy the meal pretty much, as Mc Donalds food has always becoming her number one choice of fast food, we will have it on a weekly basis, most of the time on Saturday lunch, as i can easily drive thru the counter with Carmen & Jeanne tagging around. It's not convenient to bring them together for  having lunch at restaurant, i rather have our lunch at home.

It's a tiring day out! Anyhow, it's a good time to spent some valuable private time with Jeanne, pamper her a bit while Carmen was away in Ipoh before arrival of my third baby. I am sure will be a busy bee again after  the baby is born, might jeopardize my time spent with both Carmen & Jeanne.

Last weekend when we were back to my in-laws house, when everyone were having dinner, Carmen & Jeanne both walking and playing around the house as they do not want to eat. Jeanne accidentally fell down and hit the writing table chair that my in-laws bought for Carmen last time. 

She started to cry, i quickly carry her up and saw that her upper lip was bleeding, and a small piece of skin was torn off. Luckily she can be consoled fast and forget about it later. I do not want her to look at herself in the mirror, i afraid that she might be touching and scratching the wound and scar would likely to stay. So, i refrain her from seeing the mirror, at least for a week!

I'm a hairdresser!

We were in Ipoh for the past weekend during Agong's Birthday holiday. The highway sure will be very jam with high volume traffic. In order to avoid the traffic, we went back Ipoh on Friday afternoon, and come back to Klang very early on Sunday morning after breakfast.

Carmen has had her hair cut in Malim Nawar during her last visit. It seems nice. So hubby asked me to send Jeanne to the same saloon at his hometown instead of travel all the way to Ipoh to our usual saloon. I agreed. Unfortunately, the saloon only open at 10am. I decided not to wait, because the highway will start to jam very soon. I decided to make my own move!

I become a private hairdresser for Jeanne. I trimmed her fringe and a bit of her curly hair behind. Hubby become my helper at the side, directed me to cut here and there, I dare not trim so much. Luckily Jeanne sits properly inside the bathroom and sit still until i finished the haircut. Such a good girl, at least i can say she is a good girl at that moment!

Mosquitoes Kisses & Minor Accident @ Home

My poor baby Jeanne cries throughout the night while sleeping in her baby cot. Initially i  thought that she played too much during day time, and she was having her bad dream. That's why she cant sleep properly. I have a tiring night waking up to comfort her. I decided to put her back to her cradle to sleep. And what's up next morning?

While i carry her out from the cradle the next morning when she awake, i have a shock of my life. Most noticeable is her nose and cheek, pretty much swollen, the caused from mosquitoes kisses.There were more when i checked out, there are some more kisses to her forehead, and both hand's fingers. Poor girl..........

While having her  tea time later, she fell down and cried out loud, i know it's not a good sign. She  must been hurting herself from the fall. After i comforted her, i found out that chunks of rice crackers from her mouth started to turn red, there were blood soaking the crackers.My goodness, i found out that her gum bleeding, i quickly let her drink some iced-water to stop the blood flowing out.

To add to my horror, Carmen called out loud from the living hall for me. Carmen yelled "Mommy, Mei Mei tooth falls on the floor!" I quickly ran out to the living hall and checked out, there was a tiny white creature on the floor, my hearts beating fast, picking it up, found a chuck of cracker that Carmen thought was a tooth felled out from her sister gum. Lucky me, i escaped death sentence by Hubby!

Help! Asthma Attack My Girls

Singulair 10mg is the latest medication in curing allergic children

It has been months that the asthma attack my Carmen & Jeanne. Carmen heals within a month time, while Jeanne took almost more than 2 months to heal completely. Hubby blaming me that they inherited the bad genes from my family side.

During our younger days, all my brothers and sisters also went through this stage, where the asthma no longer persist after we reached our primary school. Professionals called this as allergies nowadays instead of asthma. Both of the girls have cow's milk allergies, they cant consume any milk powder made from cow's milk, since babies, they only have soy bean milk.

Pediatrician recommends us to continue both of them with the "SINGULAIR" medication for a year long. The medication is quite costly, RM5 per tablet per day per person. if it does help, it is worthwhile. Previously Carmen had have it and stop when she recovered as some other doctors mainly recommended a month or 3 months long. Now it will be a one-year long medication for both of them. I hope the medication really can help to improve and heal both of them!

Playground Fun 13.06.2010

These day, i rarely bring the girls to playground. Since daddy was working on the weekend, so i decided to bring both Carmen and Jeanne to the playground in our neighborhood. I walked them there, while Jeanne was barely sitting in her stroller enjoying the mother nature.

I noticed that Carmen is pretty independent nowadays, she can climb up the slides and play on her own, without my assistance anymore. I am ashamed to say that this is my first time officially bringing Jeanne to the playground at the age of 1, where we used to bring Carmen there every weekend before Jeanne was born.

This is the first time that Jeanne was being able to touch the ground, ever since she can walk, started to explore every little single items on the ground, and not sparing whatever she can grab from the ground. Nevertheless, I am glad that will be able to spend some valuable time with both little angels, and i am sure both of them enjoy the play there very much!

Carmen's & Jeanne's New Hair Style

I used to bring Carmen to cut her hair at my favourite hair saloon near my mother's house whenever i go back to Ipoh. Last week when i was there, i took both the girls to the hair saloon for a trim on their hair. Both girls have super fine and thin hair, inherited from their Daddy. Some more, their hair is a bit curly, inherit from me!

This time would be the first time of Jeanne cutting her hair. Luckily, she didnt cry. I carry her on my arm to cut her hair the entire session. Both looks so cute after the hair cut!

Desa Waterpark @ 16.05.2010

My siblings came from Ipoh to visit me last weekend. Initially we thought of going over to Sunway Lagoon on Sunday. But the plan was ruined as we all wake up late on Sunday morning, due to late night shopping at IKEA the day before.

We took our brunch, and back home for a short rest, put the girls to a short nap, while the others went for their shopping trip before we decide to change to change to Desa Waterpark. We wouldn't have enough time to fully utilize the facilities in Sunway Lagoon if we go,and furthermore, the entrance fee is expensiveto Sunway Lagoon compared to Desa Waterpark. We only have most 3 hours to enjoy the "water play" session, so Desa Waterpark is the best alternative for a fun water play weekend with the kids.

I myself feeling very tired and exhausted playing with them, even it's about one and a half hour there. I believe both Carmen and Jeanne enjoying themselves there. This is the second time we been there, and our first time there, only Carmen and Daddy playing. This time, all of us joining in for the water fun play, inclusive me and also Jeanne! Think another couple here (my brother and girlfriend) also enjoying their break!

Swollen Eye

Jeanne was having swollen eye last weekend after we went back Ipoh. Carmen also having her swollen eye, but not as serious as Jeanne's eye. I applied some cream on Carmen eye, and she get back to normal within half a day, and i did the same to Jeanne, but it turn out to be worst. Her eye is even more severe.

I quickly brought her back to Klang and visit her paediatrician. Her doctor said that her swollen eye was caused by insect bite. She is so pity, i feels so pain and pinch when i see her always suffer from this and that. I sent her back to the babysitter after the visit to the doctor, praying for her speedy recovery. She was issued with antiboitic, medications for itchy and also some cream to be apply on her eye. Luckily, the next day, she is back to normal again.

We went back Ipoh to celebrate Mothers' Day with our parents. We are having dinner with my in-laws family as well as my own family, to be fair to both family. Most of the time we celebrate any events by eating only! Carmen is the happiest person after all, she do not need to attend school in the first place, and she love it very much when we travel back to our hometown!

My BIL bought a cake for my MIL after the dinner, Carmen treat it as a Birthday cake for herself, she want candles to be light up, and she will blow the cake, and cut the cake as well. Carmen demanded that we all sing "Happy Birthday" song for her, i think, she still do not know the meaning of Mothers' Day. She only understand that the day is the birthday for all mommy, she thought it's my birthday instead, and she sings me a Birthday song! Haha....

It has been a year since Jeanne was born, i still remember the same day last year, i was admitted to hospital for c-sec, i was so nervous and scared as that was my first time having c-sec, while my first delivery is a normal delivery. One year since has gone, and Jeanne has grown up a lot.

I and hubby have to work on Jeanne's actual birth date. Therefore, we have to finish our work, fetch her from babysitter house, and go for a dinner nearby only. We went to Botanic Resort Club, very near to our housing area after we have our cake cutting ceremony at home. After the dinner, we sent Jeanne back to the babysitter house, i forget to give her the present i bought for her! *ALAMAK*

We went back to Malim Nawar on Labour Day Holiday. The timing spoils my planning for a BIRTHDAY celebration for Jeanne during the weekend. Some more, my SIL have gave birth, she went back to my in-laws house for confinement, we will go back to pay her a visit too. Therefore, we have to change our plan.

Surprisingly, we have got a FREE cake from the restaurant that we are dining to celebrate coming Mothers' Day. My MIL presented the cake to Jeanne as her birthday cake. We're just singing the "Happy Birthday" song for her and lit up a little candle for her. I think the happiest person is Carmen, as she demanded us to sing the song, lit the candle, and she blows the candle on behalf of her little sister!

Anyhow, both of them enjoy the cake very much, as both of them is the fans to the cake, they nearly eaten one quarter of the cake, even though the cake is a mini cake, i think is around 6-8 inches round butter cake. They both really enjoying it......but Jeanne still blur blur, do not know what is happening as she is still young! You can figure out from the facial expressions : )

A kiss might be harmful to baby. Thrust me, never ever let anybody kiss your baby, it could be harmful for your baby. I said so as this fact is based on my very own experience, my baby being kissed be somebody, leading her to develop oral herpes. It is a condition that the mouth ulcer is everywhere inside the wall of her mouth and not sparing her tongue and throat, that causes excessive pain.

Doctor diagnosed her to be HFMD at first, as she have the symptoms of fever, rashes on her hands, and also terrible mouth ulcer. I was so worried, i keep on feeding her with E-Excel Millennium Water as she unable to swallow anything, neither solids or liquids.This product is a direct selling product introduced by my cousin to me, it is very powerful, can cure mouth ulcer overnight, from my very own experience as well. It works wonder, although it is very expensive.

My poor girl loses weight very drastic for 1 week long illness. She is slowly recovering by now, now she can drink milk slowly, appetite not back to her normal self, still not feeding on solid yet. I hope that she can get well very soon, i felt the pain whenever i sees her crying in pain, rejecting milk!

Mommy's has got no choice, have to entertain Carmen!

I have been rejecting hubby invitation for shopping for the past few weekends already. He used to come home earlier than usual after he finishes his work on Sunday to accompany both little princesses. I feels a bit guilty also, because i reject him for so many weeks already, means the two girls have to stay at home throughout the weekend.

I feels lazy to pack their stuffs for going out, which means that i have to bring along so many things for my outing to shop. When i think of packing, i don't feel like going anymore. Those important stuffs that have to be packed inclusive of milk, milk bottles, hot water, cold water, diaper, extra clothings, etc........

Last week, i finally agreed to bring both of them to Sunway Pyramid, which is nearer to our house, instead of Mid Valley. Even it's a short trip for shopping, i think both of them have fun also. We have had Japanese food and proceed for our shopping trip, after fulfill our little tummy. Bought some babies stuffs only, not enough time to scroll through other shops, as the two of then tagging around. I know both of them was excited & happy as they has been entertained by the children machines at children department.

My secret recipi ~ Baby Food Puree 2

Lately i browse online to find some baby food puree recipis for Jeanne. The information i found are very useful. I found out that homecooked or prepared food puree is much more better and effective for baby digestive system and health. Therefore, i tried to prepare a variety of flavours for Jeanne to try out. Normally i am the first one to taste each recipi that i made. If i like it, i'm sure Jeanne willl too.

I bought some avocados, pears, apples, persimmons, carrots, kiwi fruit and japanese sweet potatos to prepare the puree to her this week. I know that avocado is very nutritious. Myself also like it very much. My first time having it was in an Australian Japanese shop with sushi. It's marvelous. From that day onwards, i love to order sushi with avocado, normally will be available in California roll and Maki sushi. This fruits really melts in your mouth!

Generally, i know that Avocado is good in the sense that it may helps to lower down bad cholesterol level and increase the good cholesterol level, if eaten 7 days continously, with proven results. Besides that, it also is a natural antibacterial component. It is also very high in fiber content.

Therefore, my recipis today is featuring Avocados. Today i have made a few combinations. I have (1) Avocado & Apple, (2) Avocado with Kiwi, and finally is (3) Avocado & Apple & Persimmons. I think the best combination is Avocado with Apple. I suddenly realise that apple goes very well with other fruits. Thrust me, it's true. I have tried out a few combinations with apples that gave me a superb results.

When Carmen was younger, during her introduction to semi-solid food or solid food, i used to buy her food puree, the types that sold in major supermarkets. She consumed a lot, on dailly basis, probably from 4 months till 8 months, together with an apple a day, to kee the doctor away!The apple to to be blend into juice for her. Maybe that's the reason for her to have pinkish fair skin tone and smooth complexion.

I also used to feed her bird's nest since she was 9 months old on a weekly basis, till i deliver Jeanne, i stop, because i am lazy in preparing. To be fair, i have to start back, because in a few months time, Jeanne will be reaching 9 months. She deserved to have what her sister have had previously. i always remind myself to be fair to both of them.

Somemore, i still have quite a lot of balance stock in my cabinet, and my friend is helping me to stock in somemore, direct from farm with no preservatives and with a discounted price. And i think myself should have somemore, to maintain my skin complexion. Haha....growing old aready, must really take care of myself!

Now, it's the time for Jeanne's turn. I want to train her to enjoy eating, just like the rest of us in the family. Me, Hubby and Carmen loves and enjoy eating very much. I already bought 2 months supply of food puree from supermarkets to feed her.

Then, i finally realise that i can make my own baby food myself. Somemore, it's fresh and healthier, in the sense that i can choice those better quality organic fruits and vegetables to be fit in her meal. So, i started my chores last 2 weeks. It turn out to be well and she loves it, of course!

I spend some time in surfing the net for the recipis, and i will tried to make it for her to try in the coming days. I want to find more info online because i am not an expert nutritionist, i afraid that i mix out a few items which leads to toxic food. It's dangerous and harmful to baby at this young age.

It has been a wonderful turnout of my latest try out. I have been trying on Sweet Potato & Carrot, Pumpkin, and the best is Apple & Mango, which i think is fabulous, myself also like it. Unbelievable, taste just like pudding. Even Carmen also want to eat it!

It has been quite sometimes that i didnt take any pictures of myself. I think i still look fat with round face, double chin and also spare tyres easily can be seen after delivery of Jeanne. I asked my sister to help me snap these few pictures during both sisters having fun in the pool at home on a fine day. Well, not too bad.......

The pool has been kept in store, unmoved for quite sometimes already, think probably around half year there. Last time Carmen used to play inside the pool on usual weekends. Now her sister Jeanne is big enough to join her in with mummy's assistance to carry her in. Just wanna let them enjoy their bath and fun time together.
